Tampa Land Clearing Done Right the First Time
Tripex Land Management clears land for homeowners, builders, and commercial property owners throughout Tampa and Hillsborough County. We remove what needs to go, protect what should stay, and leave the site clean, graded, and ready for the next phase. One call handles clearing, hauling, and site prep.
In Tampa, land doesn’t stay clear for long. Between the rainy season, fast growing palmettos, and invasive Brazilian pepper, a lot can go from manageable to unusable in a single summer. Dense brush hides your property lines, gives snakes and pests a place to live, and makes the land hard to use, hard to sell, and impossible to build on.

From a single overgrown backyard to multi-acre parcels, we handle every part of clearing your land so it’s ready for what’s next.

How much does land clearing cost in Tampa?
Cost depends on property size, how dense the vegetation is, the size and number of trees, whether stumps need to come out, site access, and how much material needs to be hauled. That's why we give free on site estimates with a clear price before any work begins.
Do I need a permit to clear land in Tampa?
Often, yes, depending on what's on your property. The City of Tampa and Hillsborough County both regulate the removal of certain trees, especially large protected species like grand oaks, and the rules differ between city limits and unincorporated county land. We'll point out anything that may need approval during your site visit, and we recommend confirming with your local permitting office before work begins.
Will clearing damage the trees I want to keep?
No. Before we start, we walk the property with you and mark every tree you want to save. We work around them and protect their root zones while clearing everything else.
Do you remove stumps and roots?
Yes. Stumps can be ground below grade or fully pulled with roots, depending on what you plan to do with the land next.
Can you prep the land for building after it's cleared?
Yes. Once clearing is done, we move straight into site prep with the same crew and equipment. We rough grade the lot, shape building pads, set proper drainage away from where your structure will sit, and prep driveway areas so your builder can start right away. Because clearing and grading happen back to back, there's no waiting on a second contractor and no gap in your Tampa construction schedule.
Will the site be cleaned up after clearing?
Yes. We load and haul all trees, brush, and debris off site, so your property is left clean and ready for the next step.
